MY PHILOSOPHY
Hello bride to be and welcome!
I’ve been there and I know you are completely overwhelmed with options and questions. When I was planning my wedding, I couldn’t believe all of the decisions I needed to make and in such a short amount of time. It is so exciting that are you planning your wedding day, a day that you have been dreaming of since you were a little girl! My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this phase of planning completely simple. I am here to get to know you and to support whatever dreams you have for your day.
Not only do you want beautiful and classic images, but I also want to create a timeline that allows your day to run smoothly and to encompass everything that you have dreamed of. I want to make both you and your fiancé comfortable in front of the camera, to capture emotion instead of posed stiff photos and to really highlight the love you have between each other. Your wedding experience starts the minute that gorgeous ring was put on your finger and you said yes.
From here on out, we celebrate you and the love you have for each other. So, let’s make this one of the best days of your life, a day you will remember always and enjoy for years to come.
Here are a few things you should know...
I am married to my absolute best friend and we got married 07.04.2015 overlooking a vineyard surrounded by our closest family and friends (only 17 people)! I like to tell people we had a micro wedding before they became popular.
I have the sweetest kitty cats name Franklin & Olive.
I absolutely love to shoot details on wedding days. I am obsessed with beautiful invitations suites, gorgeous diamond rings (I have an obsession with Mrs. Box’s and if you hire me, I will show up with 25 ready to match it to your wedding colors), flowers and wedding shoes. I even find myself practicing at home when I have the chance. I love to see how couples customize their wedding days.
I started my business shortly after I graduated college in 2011 and it is the best decision I have ever made. I am amazed how much by business has grown over the last few years.
I typically shoot 20-25 weddings a year and I LOVE it.
I’m obsessed with all things Better Homes & Gardens and consistently save new ideas to Pinterest. My poor husband is always suckered into new house projects and constant wall color changes.
I am the lead photographer, writer and editor for my business.
If I could, I would be a snowbird in Florida all winter to spend time with my husband’s family. I love all things palm trees and crystal clear waters.
THE PROCESS
If the engagement session is the first time we are formally meeting, I am able to take that opportunity to get to know my couple. This helps the couple to feel comfortable with me and to warm up behind the camera. This way, they know exactly what to expect on their wedding day.
My goal is to form a relationship with all of my couples. I want to make sure from the initial consultation that we are a great fit. A bride and groom should trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process from initial consultation to the big day and finally receiving their images.
Now that you know more about me, and what to expect for your engagement session and wedding day, continue to read on about The Wedding Experience.
